Our company has always invested significantly in the safety, quality and reliability of its products and services, taking the official standards provided by legislation as core guidelines of its production. These include ISO 13849-1and ISO 13849-2, which are defined by the Italian law number 81/08 - called “Testo Unico sulla sicurezza del lavoro” (Consolidated Law on safety in the workplace).

ISO 13849-1 describes the process that must be followed for the design of the safety function parts: after the Risk Analysis and the definition of how to reduce them, it is necessary to identify the safety functions performed by the control circuits. Then, the characteristics required for each safety function are detected. Once the PLr (Performance Level required) has been determined and control circuit implemented, it must be assessed whether the PL achieved is adequate and whether the requirements have been reached.

ISO 13849-2 contains the methodology, criteria and tools for verifying whether the safety requirements of ISO 13849-1 have been achieved.

La nostra azienda ha sempre investito in modo significativo nella sicurezza, qualità e affidabilità dei propri prodotti e servizi, prendendo come linee guida per la produzione standard ufficiali forniti dalla legislazione. Tra questi sono incluse la norme ISO 13849-1e ISO 13849-2, definite dal Testo Unico sulla Sicurezza del lavoro, le quali fissano i criteri di progettazione dei sistemi di controllo delle macchine.

La norma ISO 13849-1 descrive il processo che deve essere seguito per la progettazione delle parti che svolgono funzioni di sicurezza: a seguito dell’analisi dei pericoli e delle modalità di riduzione dei rischi, devono essere identificate le funzioni di sicurezza svolte dai circuiti di comando. Per ogni funzione di sicurezza devono essere definite le caratteristiche richieste. Si dovrà poi determinare il PLr (Performance Level required), e una volta realizzato il circuito di comando valutare se il PL raggiunto è adeguato e se i requisiti sono stati soddisfatti.

La ISO 13849-2 contiene la metodologia, i criteri e gli strumenti per verificare se sono soddisfatti i requisiti di sicurezza richiesti dalla ISO 13849-1.
